Hello, my name is Stephann Norman, and I am a QUALIFIED CANDIDATE who will be on your AUGUST PRIMARY BALLOT. Though born in Texas, I was raised in Florida by a hard-working, blessed and beautiful single mother that taught myself and my sister moral Christ-like values and to treat people how we would want to be treated, with love and respect. I graduated from Robinson High School in Tampa and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from American InterContinental University Online, Magna Cum Laude.

What made me decide to run for Governor was through prayer time about all the issues going on in Florida, while looking for someone else to believe in and vote for God spoke to me and said “Look in the mirror, YOU can be the CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN FLORIDA. So on that Word from God, I stepped up and decided to obey and file to run for public office to serve the citizens of Florida.

Throughout my career, I've worked a variety of jobs, including as a bagger at MacDill Air Force Base Commissary, where my skills were honed and gleaned valuable life lessons from veterans and customers alike. My work experience includes customer service jobs at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and most importantly a caregiver for my late grandfather; always prioritizing the needs of others. I have helped friends that were hungry by providing finances and helped others by giving clothes and shoes that were not inexpensive. I’ve fed the homeless out of my own pocket, having them enter the restaurant and order what they want to eat and pay for it so they can enjoy their food in the cool and shade. I have given money, water or whatever I had to people on the street corner, sharing what I have at the moment. Selflessness is not just a word, it’s a lifestyle for myself and I am always thinking of others. I care for others with a Godly love also called: Agape Love.

My community service experience includes being involved in ministries in Tampa where my mother and I participated in outreach programs such as the homeless ministry and providing meals and clothes to those in need. My mother and I also helped with inner-city support services and shared the message of Jesus Christ through building relationships. Growing up in ministry, and learning the importance of love, respect, and compassion for all people, guided by the principle Bible verse “Love thy neighbor as thy self.” My mother trained myself and my sister to help others even though we are not rich or wealthy.

This election will be pivotal not just for Florida, but for the entire nation. Florida needs a leader who is tough on injustice yet compassionate towards others—someone who will protect the state and its people, while ensuring even the most vulnerable are cared for.

Now is the time for young people to be engaged and empowered, to understand that it is OUR TIME and we have the power to BE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE IN FLORIDA AND IN LIFE.
